This work was based on a snapshot taken while driving down Long Street in Cape Town. Here I try to capture the depth of human experience in urban spaces. The realism helps to convey a moment of reflection and silence in the midst of everyday hustle and bustle. The painting is a tribute to the unspoken stories of the people who animate our cities. It will bring a special energy to your home, one that makes you stop and think.
